Duration: 2 3 Years
Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech / M. E. / M. Tech (Design, Product Development or related) with NET or GATE Score. Candidate with work experience in designing and hand-on experience in product development will be preferred.
Skill set required: CAD modelling using Solidworks, Finite element analysis using ANSYS or Abaqus. Should be able to program in MATLAB or Scilab.
Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA per month for first two years and Rs.35,000/- +8% HRA per month for third year.
Sponsoring Agency: DST, Government of India
Work functions of the JRF /SRF: The JRF will be required to visit rehabilitation centres and understand the requirement and/or specifications for the device. The JRF will be responsible for kinematic analysis and synthesis of various mechanisms, force analysis and stress analysis (using Finite Element analysis softwares), construction, testing and evaluation of prototypes of the gait rehabilitation device.
